Who I am

AJe' English-Wynn is a public policy researcher, community organizer, and community advocate. AJe' is a proud alumna of the Red Clay Consolidated School District, having attended Warner Elementary School, A.I. duPont Middle School, and A.I. duPont High School. AJe' went on to earn a Bachelor of Applied Science in Business Administration from Wilmington University and a Master's in Public Administration from Delaware State University. As a product of the District, she understands the impact of a supportive community and quality education on a student's success.As a candidate for the Red Clay School Board, I am committed to ensuring that all students have access to a high-quality education that prepares them for success in the future. I am committed to creating a school district where every student feels valued and supported. I believe that by working together with parents, teachers, and community members, we can ensure that every student in the Red Clay School District has the opportunity to succeed. I understand the importance of engaging with the community and building partnerships with local organizations and businesses to support the needs of all students. I would work to promote parent and community involvement in our schools and to address the needs of all students, including those who may face unique challenges.

Voting Information

To vote in public school elections you must:
Be a citizen of xthe United States and the State of Delaware.
Be domiciled within the school district for which the election is being conducted.
Be 18 years of age on or before the day of the election.You must also provide proof of identity and address. This includes:
Delaware driver's license
Delaware ID card
Work ID card with photo and home address
U. S. postal material with street addressA voter may also show other reasonable documents which by themselves or in conjunction with another document identifies the person and his/her address such as:
A State of Delaware vehicle registration card
A recent utility bill
A rent receipt
A signed Social Security Card
A telephone directory listing in a current phone book

Why I am running

Equity and Access: AJe is committed to ensuring that all students have equitable access to high-quality education and resources, regardless of their zip code or social class. She believes that every student in the Greater Wilmington area deserves a fair shot at success and will work tirelessly to close proficiency gaps.Community Engagement: AJe understands the importance of community engagement in promoting student success. She will work to build strong partnerships with families, community organizations, and local businesses to support student achievement and ensure that all stakeholders have a voice in the district's decision-making processes.Support for Teachers and Staff: AJe recognizes the critical role that teachers and staff play in student success. She will work to ensure that they have the resources and support they need to provide high-quality education to all students.
